How Do I Do A Teleseminar With A Joint Venture Partner If I Don’t Have A List?

October 9th, 2009

=======================================
Q: HOW DO I START IF I HAVE NO LIST?
=======================================

Q: “From what I understand your My First Teleseminar course teaches how to do teleseminar with your list, but I keep on getting stuck with my “No List” situation… I just invited one of the experts for a one on one interview next week, I told him I will collect some questions from my friends who are always looking for weight loss solutions and get back to him on that. I feel bad to ask people to invite their list when I have none… How do I go about doing that? Am I on the right track?”

Thanks,
Karen

KYLE RESPONDS:

Hey there,

The “My First Teleseminar” system works perfectly even if you don’t have a single subscriber on your list. This is the exact system I used to start building my list from scratch. Tellman and many other people also followed this exact model to build a list even though they had no one on their list when they started.

I actually provide a pre-written script that you can use to approach possible Joint Venture partners especially if you don’t have a list.

The key is how you approach them and how much value you can convey to your potential Joint Venture partner.

This is the exact script I used over and over to get partners to agree to work with me even though I did not have a list at all when I first got started.

You’ve got to get past the mental block in your mind my friend; you need to get past “feeling bad” about having the expert invite their list to the call when you dont yet have a list at all. If you follow the “My First Teleseminar” system you are bringing value to the table too – a lot of value.

That is how this system works and that’s how Joint Ventures work. Its based on a ‘Value Exchange.”

Your joint venture partner has a list of your ideal subscribers, a product to sell, and an affiliate program.

What they don’t have is time and they never ever have enough traffic and sales (they always are looking for more ways to increase traffic to their site, improve conversions, and get more people to buy their product).

You don’t have a list (yet) BUT you do have TIME, a strong work ethic, a ‘Go Getter’ attitude, AND a proven system that delivers value for free to subscribers, and drives home sales of the guest expert’s product at a very high conversion rate (teleseminars convert VERY, VERY WELL).

You go out of your way to build a teleseminar system, you write the copy, you put the HTML pages together, you have the sales system that has been proven to work over and over again and all they have to do is mail 3 e-mails to their list and then show up and do what they do best – share their extensive knowledge, provide value to the listeners, and talk about their product or service on the call.

You “roll up your sleeves” and do all the leg work and what you get out of it is new subscribers opting into YOUR e-mail list and you make money from affiliate commissions selling your guest expert’s product before, during, and after the teleseminar.

Your joint venture partner gets traffic to their website, sales of their product, a valuable list of subscriber questions from the call, content that they can use in many ways, bonding with their subscribers, and more exposure to their product.

They key is for you to convey as much value as possible in as many ways as possible for your joint venture partner so that they are happy to work with you and send e-mails to their own list. I teach you how to approach Joint Venture partners in the correct way in the My First Teleseminar course so that they are happy to work with you.

If you work hard to over deliver value to your partner your expert will be happy to promote the call to their list and you can both benefit together.

To your success,

“The Story Of The Best Salesman In The World”

July 8th, 2009

How Using This One Secret Can Dramatically Increase Your Sales Success And Make Your More Money…

Did you ever hear that story of when the “best salesman in the world” was a guest on the Johny Carson late night show?

Apparently this guy could “sell ice to Eskimos” so Johny challenged him to a little test in front of the audience.

“I want you to try and sell me something,” Johny said in a defiant voice.

“Ok Johny, what would you like me to sell you?” said the salesman.

Johny looked around and said, “Ok, how about this ash tray.”

“Ok, what do you like about that ask tray Johny,” said the salesman.

“Well, ok,…I guess I like how it sits on desk, the size of it and I guess I like how it hold cigarettes for me and my guest,” said Johny.

“That’s great, I can see why you like that ash tray, said the sales man, “is there anything else you like about it?”

“I guess I also like color of it,…yeah, I really like the color of this ash tray.”

“It is a good looking color isn’t it?”

“Yeah, the more I think of it I really do like the color a lot,” Johny said.

“I see Johny, how much do you think you would be willing to pay for that very
ash tray that you like so much?” said the sales man.

“Well, I guess I would pay $5 for that very ash tray,” said Johny.

“SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!” said the sales man with a big grin on his face. He knew he had just
closed the deal and closed Johny Carson on the sale.

The lesson here is that if you find out what your customer wants and why they want it you can sell more effectively!!

As a salesman (an online salesman but a sales man none the less) you can make your job a heck of a lot easier if you ask your customer what they want….wait for their answer,
then use their own words and their own unique language they used when asking to sell them what they need.

When I first heard Dan Kennedy tell this story of the “Best Salesman In The World” I thought it was ingenious… I then heard the teleseminar expert Alex Mondosian talk about the power of ‘Asking’ and it made perfect sense. I then put it into action with the My First Teleseminar System (www.MyFirstTeleseminar.com) and low and behold, it worked like gangbusters to drive in sales every single call!!!!

As part of every teleseminar system I would simply have a link to an “Ask Page” where I would ask the person what their biggest question about __________ (whatever the topic of the call is). For example, if I was doing a teleseminar about “Losing Fat” in the fitness niche I might ask “What’s Your Single Biggest Question About Losing Fat?”

Tellman learned this technique from Teleseminar Guru Alex Mondosian and I learned this from Tellman and it works GREAT!!!

It’s all about meeting the customer where they are at… and presenting them with a sales
message that answers their needs… The ‘My First Teleseminar’ system does just that and instantly turns you into the best sales man in the world.

If you want to learn more about how to use this technique to instantly increase your sales
Effectiveness then check out the ‘My First Teleseminar’ Free CD I put together with Tellman.
